Disney World Celebrates 55 Years of Magic with Anniversary Event
Walt Disney World marked its 55th anniversary on August 7 with a special celebration at Magic Kingdom. The event kicked off with a castle stage moment at Cinderella Castle, where resort president Joe Schott addressed guests alongside Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and other beloved characters.
The celebration also included an anniversary message in the My Disney Experience app, signed by Schott, thanking guests for including Walt Disney World in their lives. The event was a nod to the park's rich history and its continued commitment to providing magical experiences for visitors of all ages.
