Disney World ends bottled drink discount for Annual Passholders
Walt Disney World has officially discontinued a long-standing 20% discount on bottled beverages for Annual Passholders. Effective October 6, the discount no longer applies to bottled water, soda, and similar drinks purchased from Disney-owned merchandise locations. Cast Members confirmed the change, which impacts a savings strategy frequently used by regular park visitors.
While the 20% merchandise discount remains in place for other eligible items, the removal of the bottled beverage discount means Passholders will now pay full price for drinks. This change follows recent Annual Pass price increases, putting additional financial pressure on frequent Disney World visitors. Although the discount was relatively small, it could accumulate to significant savings over multiple visits throughout the year.
The bottled beverage discount had been a well-known money-saving tip among frequent Disney visitors. Some Passholders specifically purchased drinks from merchandise locations to take advantage of the savings. With this change, those guests will now face higher costs for what was once a minor but recurring expense.
