Disney World Guests Get Relief from Heat as Cold Front Arrives

A welcome relief is on its way for Walt Disney World guests as a cold front arrives in Central Florida this week, bringing cooler temperatures and less humidity to the resort.

The front marks the official start of fall, with local forecasters celebrating the shift. Temperatures are expected to drop into the mid-to-upper 60s by Saturday morning, ending a 110-day streak without a single morning dipping below 70 degrees.

While not cold enough to cause major disruptions, the cooler temperatures may lead to delayed or temporary closures of Disney's water parks, including Blizzard Beach and Kali River Rapids. Guests are advised to pack light layers for mornings and evenings, with conditions improving from Friday onwards.
