Disney World Hikes Ticket Prices Ahead of New Attractions
Disney World has announced its annual ticket price increase, raising costs for park visitors once again. The highest-priced day for a single-park ticket now reaches $229, with variations depending on the park and date. For example, a ticket to Animal Kingdom starts at $189, while EPCOT and Magic Kingdom both peak at $229. The lowest-priced ticket remains unchanged at $119.
The price hikes are part of Disney's regular adjustments, which also include changes to Park Hopper tickets. In 2026, the most expensive Park Hopper option hit $284, and now it can go up to $301 for the priciest days. However, the cost decreases with the addition of more days.
Disney justifies these increases by pointing to upcoming projects, such as the Tropical Americas land in Animal Kingdom and Monstropolis in Hollywood Studios, set to open in 2027. Recent additions like The Walt Disney Studios and updates to popular attractions also factor into the pricing strategy.
Despite the rises, Disney assures that more affordable tickets are still available during off-peak seasons. Planning trips around the ticket calendar and being flexible with travel dates can help visitors secure lower-priced options.
