Disney World Monorail Struck by Lightning, Leaving Passengers Stuck for Hours

Passengers on a Walt Disney World monorail were stuck for nearly 90 minutes after the track was apparently struck by lightning. The incident occurred on September 15, 2026. According to reports, the passengers were instructed on how to remove one of the windows to help with airflow.

Tanya Lee shared video showing the scene, where passengers can be seen trying to ventilate the monorail by removing a window. It is not clear if anyone was injured during the incident.
