Disney World Overhauls Attractions and Restaurants for Fall Season
Disney World is gearing up for several changes in September, including the end of Cool Kids Summer on September 8th. This means that perks and special offerings at hotels and parks will no longer be available, such as Jesse's Roundup in Magic Kingdom and GoofyCore at EPCOT.
The Coral Reef Restaurant in EPCOT is also closing on September 8th for renovations, although a reopening date has not been confirmed. Typhoon Lagoon water park will close on the same day, while Blizzard Beach remains open but may close again in early 2027 when Typhoon Lagoon reopens.
A new attraction, The Magic of Disney Animation, is set to open in Disney's Hollywood Studios on September 14th. This includes four attractions and a character meet-and-greet spot. EPCOT will also host the Cheers to Cheese exhibit during the Food & Wine Festival, which begins on September 18th.
Other food booths at the festival won't open until September, including Festival Favorites in CommuniCore Hall.
