Disney World Parks Face Schedule Changes in October 2026

Visitors to Walt Disney World in October 2026 will face various schedule changes at its four theme parks. Three of the parks - Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT - will have their hours altered or restricted due to private events and conventions.

Magic Kingdom will host Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on select evenings, forcing day guests to exit the park by 6 p.m. This event occurs on 16 different nights in October, which is more than half of the month.

Hollywood Studios will close early on October 20th at 5 p.m. due to a private convention event taking place inside the park from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Regular guests must leave before this time.

EPCOT's changes come in the form of late morning openings on October 23rd and 25th, starting at 10 a.m. instead of the usual 9 a.m., due to runDisney events taking place within the park.
