Disney World raises ticket and annual pass prices amid park expansions
Walt Disney World has announced a price increase for tickets, annual passes, and the Lightning Lane Premier Pass, effective as of Tuesday. The peak one-day ticket now costs $229, applicable to the busiest 2027 dates, including Christmas and New Year’s Eve at Magic Kingdom, and New Year’s Eve at EPCOT.
All four annual passes have seen price adjustments. The Pixie Dust Pass rose by $10 to $499, while the Pirate Pass increased by $40 to $909. The Sorcerer Pass also went up by $40 to $1,139. The top-tier Incredi-Pass saw the most significant jump, rising by $120 to $1,749. Notably, the Pixie Dust and Pirate passes are exclusively for Florida residents, and the Sorcerer Pass is available to residents and Disney Vacation Club members.
Disney is implementing these price changes as it expands its Florida parks with new areas. Magic Kingdom will feature Piston Peak National Park, Hollywood Studios will introduce Monstropolis, and Animal Kingdom will add Tropical Americas, including the new Encanto attraction.
Visitors planning trips are advised to check Disney’s official ticket page for the most current pricing before making any purchases.
