Disney World Refillable Mugs: What You Need to Know
The Disney World refillable mug program has been a favorite among visitors for years. However, like many things at Disney World, there are rules to follow when using these mugs.
The mugs can be found at each of the Disney hotels in their primary counter-service dining location. At Value resorts, they're often located in either the food court area or their attached gift shop. Moderate and Deluxe resorts only have them at their quick-service locations.
One rule to keep in mind is that you only pay once for the mug, which costs $22.99 plus tax. This price includes unlimited refills on fountain drinks, coffee, and tea from participating beverage locations at Disney resort hotels.
You don't have to use your mug at your own resort; it's valid at any Disney resort hotel on property. Just be aware that the mug's active status lasts for up to 14 days during a guest's stay. After this time, you'll need to purchase another mug if you want to continue using it.
The mugs are not usable in the parks or water parks, including Disney Springs. It's worth noting that Universal Orlando offers similar mugs, but with some differences; these can be used at their theme parks and hotels.
