Disney World Ride Tiana's Bayou Adventure Criticized for Malfunctions and Duct Tape

The Tiana's Bayou Adventure ride at Disney World has been facing criticism and complaints from guests due to its malfunctioning animatronics, sticky situation, and apparent use of duct tape to hold together some of its props. The ride, inspired by the 2009 Disney animated film 'The Princess and the Frog', opened in June 2024, replacing the iconic Splash Mountain.

Guests have shared their disappointing experiences on social media platforms, including X, where they've posted photos of the green adhesive used to hold together some of the ride's props. One user joked that it looked like 'Donald Duct' had been at work.

The use of duct tape detracted from the attraction's immersive experience, which transports riders back to 1920s New Orleans and allows them to explore Tiana's new business, Tiana's foods. Some guests felt embarrassed by the apparent lack of attention to detail in maintaining the ride.
