Disney World Ticket Prices Soar 5,000% in 55 Years
A vintage Disney World ticket from 1971 is being shared online to highlight the massive price surge over the years. Javi Oliveira posted a photo of an original admission ticket dated October 1, 1971, priced at $3.50 (£2.60), alongside a modern ticket from 2026 for $180 (£133).
This represents an increase of more than 5,000 per cent in just over five decades. The price difference has sparked shock and debate among Disney fans on social media, with some calling it 'a dream to travel there' due to the costs.
Walt Disney World began as a single theme park but has expanded into a huge resort featuring four theme parks, two water parks, and over 170 attractions. The experiences have become more advanced, contributing to rising ticket prices.
