Disney World Unveils Ambitious 2027 Slate with New Attractions and Expansions

Walt Disney World has announced its slate of new attractions and expansions set to open in 2027. The list includes two rides that were previously thought to have been delayed beyond this year.

According to a press release, the resort will create more than 5,000 jobs over the next five years as a result of these new additions.

The 2027 openings include Monstropolis at Disney's Hollywood Studios, which will feature a theater show hosted by Mike and Sulley, as well as a suspended roller coaster through the Monsters, Inc. factory's door vault.

Tropical Americas will introduce new Encanto and Indiana Jones rides to Disney's Animal Kingdom, with all three attractions set to open in 2027.
