Disney World Unveils Massive Dining Expansion for 2027
Disney World is gearing up for its biggest expansion in years, and with it comes an influx of new dining options. In total, six restaurants are set to open across the resort in 2027, each tied to major developments currently under construction.
The largest addition will be The Hacienda at Disney's Animal Kingdom, which will operate as a quick-service restaurant but promises to offer more than just a snack stop. With a capacity to rival other quick-service eateries at the resort, it will serve as a key part of the new Tropical Americas area.
At Disney's Hollywood Studios, two restaurants are on their way: Harryhausen's Restaurant and Archie's Scare Pig Pizza. The former takes inspiration from Japanese cuisine and features a unique Sushi Chef Audio-Animatronic inspired by the movie Monsters, Inc. While the latter is a more casual option, serving up pizza with a side of Monstropolis charm.
The remaining three restaurants will be located at Lakeshore Lodge, the new resort being built on the former River Country water park site. Moonglade promises to offer seasonal and locally sourced dishes in an upscale setting, while Bay Lake Provisions will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a marketplace-style atmosphere.
Paint Out Point Bar & Grill rounds out the lineup at Lakeshore Lodge, offering shareable food and specialty beverages poolside. With these new additions, guests can expect a Disney World vacation in 2027 to be quite different from one taken today.
