Disney World Wait Times Soar as Cooler Weather Brings Out the Crowds

Disney World saw its busiest day in weeks on Saturday, with wait times surging across all four theme parks. The unseasonal warm weather earlier this summer may have kept visitors away, but the return of cooler and drier conditions has brought out the crowds.

The peak hour for waits was around 6pm, when EPCOT was the busiest park. The new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind ride was particularly popular, with a wait time of over two hours at that time.

Other parks were also experiencing long lines, with Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios running hot as well. While Lightning Lane options are available for those looking to avoid standby lines, visitors may want to consider visiting lower-wait attractions to make the most of their day.
