Disney World Weather Turns Sour This Week

Walt Disney World guests who have enjoyed more comfortable Florida weather may soon face heat and humidity again. By Friday, rain chances could reach 70%, while the heat index climbs as high as 103 degrees.

The shift begins on Wednesday, September 30, with moisture returning to the area. Rain chances sit between 20% and 50% on Wednesday, with afternoon showers and thunderstorms presenting a concern. Thursday brings an even greater chance of rain at 40% to 60%.

Friday could be the most difficult day for Disney World guests. Rain chances increase to between 50% and 70%, while afternoon temperatures reach the upper 80s to low 90s. Humidity will make it feel considerably hotter, with peak heat index values expected between 98 and 103 degrees.
