Disney World's Bizarre Rules: No Gum, Stiff Smiles Required
Disney World is known for its magical experiences and secrets that are not publicly disclosed. The Disney Food Blog (DFB) recently released a video highlighting ten secrets about the Magic Kingdom that sound fake but are real. One such secret is that Disney World does not sell gum in any of its stores or vending machines.
According to the DFB, this policy has been in place for many years and is due to the high cost of cleaning up after sticky situations caused by gum. Another surprising fact revealed by the video is that some Disney employees are not allowed to smile at guests who are wearing Mickey Mouse ears or other Disney-themed clothing.
The DFB also shared several other secrets, including the fact that Disney World has a secret underground network of tunnels and passageways beneath the Magic Kingdom. These tunnels allow cast members to quickly move around the park without being seen by guests.
