Disney World's Lakeshore Lodge Unveils Exclusive DVC Booking Opportunity
Disney World is expanding its hotel offerings with a brand new property called Lakeshore Lodge. Set to open in 2027, this resort will be the first Disney-built hotel since Disney's Riviera Resort opened in 2019.
The exclusive opportunity for Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members to book rooms at Lakeshore Lodge before its official opening date is scheduled for November 7th, 2026. This 'First Wave' experience will take place from June 24th through 27th, 2027, allowing DVC members to be among the first to stay at the new hotel.
Lakeshore Lodge will feature 967 rooms, including Waterfront Lake Houses, Nature-Inspired Studios and Villas, and Elevated Resort Rooms and Suites. The resort's outdoor recreation area, called The Wetlands, includes a lazy river, zero-entry feature pool, and water play area for kids based on the music and storytelling of Pocahontas.
The hotel will also have three restaurants: Moonglade (a table service restaurant), Paint Out Point Bar & Grill (more casual dining), and Bay Lake Provisions (marketplace). Additionally, Lakeshore Lodge is close to Magic Kingdom and offers a water taxi to the park, as well as buses to other parks and Disney Springs.
