Disney World's Latest Updates: Hurly Burly Opens, Lakeshore Lodge Revealed, and Epcot Food & Wine Festival Expands

This week at Disney World brought some exciting news for visitors and fans alike. Among the updates, Hurly Burly has officially opened its doors as a new restaurant on Disney's Boardwalk Resort. The venue offers games, activities, and bites for families until 9 PM, after which it transforms into a 21+ lounge with live entertainment.

The menu at Hurly Burly features a variety of options that were thoroughly tested by the Disney Food Blog team during its opening day celebrations. The restaurant's environment was filled to capacity, with an hour-long wait for walk-up guests.

In other news, Disney has released concept art and details about Lakeshore Lodge, set to open on July 1st, 2027. The hotel lobby will feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of nature, while the lounge, Branch & Brush, will serve handcrafted cocktails with seasonal themes.

The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is also in full swing, with new booths opening on October 2nd, including Coastal Eats, Earth Eats, The Alps, and India. These additions join two previously delayed booths, The Wedge Hosted by Dairy Does More and Festival Favorites.
