Disney World's Salt and Straw Brings Back Bug Ice Cream for Halloween

Disney fans and thrill-seekers can rejoice as Salt and Straw returns to Disney Springs with its limited-time Halloween Series. The popular ice cream spot is known for its unique flavors, and this year's collection does not disappoint. Six new flavors have been added, including the Creepy Crawly Critters, which features edible insects.

The Creepy Crawly Critters ice cream base is made with matcha ice cream and toffee brittle mealworms, giving it a subtle sweetness and savory flavor. This year's version has removed orange juice from the previous recipe but maintains the same balance of flavors that makes it a fan favorite.

The other Halloween-themed flavors include The Great Candycopia, which features chocolate candies in salted butterscotch ice cream; Jack O' Lantern Pumpkin Bread, with pumpkin bread hunks folded into pumpkin-spiced ice cream; Witch's Brew Fruit Punch Sherbet, made with fruit punch sherbet and sour candy apple fondant; and Chocolate Graveyard Cookie Crumble, featuring dairy-free black cocoa coconut cream and red-dyed vegan white chocolate frosting.
