Disneyland Adds New Refurbishment Dates Amid Summer Season Decline
The summer tourist season at Disneyland is coming to an end as schools prepare to go back into session next month, marking the unofficial start of the offseason. As a result, Disneyland has added several projects to its refurbishment calendar, including nine new dates.
According to recent updates to the 2026 Disneyland Refurbishment Calendar, there are limited major refurbishments happening currently. Disney aims to minimize ride closures during the summer months to make a positive impression on first-time visitors who typically have less tolerance for downtime compared to locals and Annual Passholders.
The resort has seen price increases across its dining options, with 917 items impacted at 178 locations. The latest wave of price hikes includes 291 increases at 13 table service restaurants, lounges, and bars, averaging a 6.5% increase. Snacks have also seen significant price jumps, with some now costing over $10.
