Disneyland Construction Disrupts Arrival Experience, Guest Guidance Issued
Disneyland Resort has begun extensive construction at its main theme park entrances, which may cause temporary disruptions to visitors' arrival experiences.
The project, part of DisneylandForward's long-term development initiative, aims to create a new Esplanade arrival experience with a dedicated transportation hub and pedestrian bridge.
In preparation for the changes, Disney has issued a warning to guests, advising them that construction walls will temporarily shift the East Security screening area into the former ticket-booth location by fall 2026.
Walkway adjustments and security screening changes may impact arrivals from various entry points, including Harbor Boulevard pedestrian entrances, Toy Story parking lot shuttles, and parking trams from Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals parking structures.
