Disneyland Paris' Le Pays des Contes de Fées Celebrates 30 Years
The Disneyland Paris version of Storybook Land Canal Boats is called Le Pays des Contes de Fées, which translates to 'The Land of Fairy Tales' in English. This attraction debuted in 1994 and allows guests to board boats and take a cruise through various stories that come to life in miniature form.
Unlike its counterpart at Disneyland, Le Pays des Contes de Fées does not have a guide to narrate the attraction. Instead, books showcase the story behind each scene, allowing guests to experience their favorite tales firsthand.
The attraction has undergone updates over the years, including modifying Rapunzel's tower to match what is seen in Walt Disney Animation Studios' Tangled and replacing some scenes with more current stories.
