Disneyland Paris Unveils Ambitious Plans to Revamp Disney Village
Disneyland Paris is in the midst of a major overhaul of Disney Village, aiming to transform it into a standalone destination rather than just a passage between theme parks, hotels, and the rail station. The transformation kicked off in December 2023 with the opening of Brasserie Rosalie.
The latest addition is Disney Wonders, which opened September 22 as a flagship store featuring immersive Disney shopping environments. Its façade showcases artwork inspired by Peter Pan, Star Wars, and Toy Story, while illuminated displays feature Marvel and Star Wars characters.
Casa Giulia, an Italian restaurant with around 380 seats, will open near the entrance to Disney Village by the end of 2026. Vapiano will undergo a full interior renovation from late 2026, including a redesigned upper floor with a children's play area and an upgraded terrace.
Major makeovers are also planned for Pathé cinema and Annette's Diner. The Christmas season will bring new festive decorations across Disney Village, marking another layer of change in the redevelopment process. Rainforest Café will permanently close by the end of 2026 as part of the changes.
