Disneyland Raises Prices But Spares Magic Key Holders
Disneyland Resort has followed Walt Disney World's recent price increases with its own adjustments, though the changes are more selective. The resort raised prices on one-day tickets in Tiers 1 through 4 by $5, while the least expensive ticket remains at $104 and the most expensive stays at $224. Multi-day ticket prices were not affected, but the distribution of dates within the ticket tiers has shifted, potentially influencing overall spending depending on the visit dates.
Lightning Lane Multi Pass prices have also seen a slight increase. The pre-arrival pass rose from $34 to $35, and the day-of-visit pass increased from $37 to $38. While these changes are modest, they can add up for guests purchasing the service for multiple people.
The most notable difference from Walt Disney World's updates is that Disneyland has kept Magic Key prices unchanged. In contrast, Disney World Annual Passholders are facing significant increases, including a $120 hike for the Disney Incredi-Pass, now priced at $1,749. This marks a 34% increase since the pass debuted in 2021.
For frequent visitors, the disparity between the two resorts is clear. While Disneyland guests are dealing with smaller price adjustments, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders are shouldering much larger costs. Disneyland's decision to leave Magic Key prices untouched provides a reprieve for its regular visitors, even as other expenses rise.
