Disneyland Resort Unveils Magical Holiday Plans for 2026
Disneyland Resort has unveiled its plans for the 2026 holiday season, which will kick off on November 13 and run through January 6, 2027. The resort will transform into a winter wonderland with seasonal entertainment, decorated attractions, and festive food.
The main event will be 'World of Color -- Season of Light' at Disney California Adventure Park, combining scenes from beloved Disney films like 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'Inside Out' with holiday music. At Disneyland Park, visitors can expect to see Mickey Mouse and his friends in new holiday attire, while Santa Claus will make appearances at Mickey's Toontown Trolley Barn and Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
Other highlights include a Christmas Fantasy Parade on Main Street, U.S.A., featuring Disney characters, toy soldiers, dancing reindeer, and gingerbread cookies. Sleeping Beauty Castle will also be transformed into Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle, complete with icicles, wreaths, and over 80,000 lights that will illuminate the castle each evening.
Disney Festival of Holidays will return to Disney California Adventure Park on November 13, featuring music and dance performances, seasonal food, and celebrations reflecting various holiday traditions. Downtown Disney District will also get into the holiday spirit with decorations, seasonal food, and entertainment, including nightly simulated snowfall and live performances at the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage.
