Disneyland Resort's 70th Anniversary Celebration Ends August 9

The 70th anniversary celebration at Disneyland Resort comes to an end on August 9. The final performance of the Celebrate Happy Cavalcade is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. that day, and it will not return until August 21 with the Mickey and Friends Halloween Cavalcade.

Visitors have a limited time to complete the Key to Disneyland activity inside the parks before it closes on August 9. The celebration's decorations are being removed, including those from Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Some attractions will continue beyond August 9, however. The Tapestry of Happiness projection show is scheduled through at least mid-September, and both Paint the Night parade and Wondrous Journeys fireworks will run until August 20.
