Disneyland Tears Down Ticket Booths for Parking Garage and Pedestrian Bridge
Disneyland Resort is making significant changes to its main entrance area as part of its larger Disneyland Forward expansion. The project began in August when a construction permit was filed to demolish four ticket booth structures located between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.
Crews have since torn down the booths, which were no longer needed due to the increasing number of guests purchasing admission online before their visit. The cleared area will eventually make way for a new pedestrian bridge connecting to a parking garage that broke ground last month.
The 6,000-space parking structure will feature 302 EV charging stations, a security office, and dedicated rideshare and shuttle pickup areas. This is the first phase of Disneyland Forward, aimed at accommodating increased crowds with new attractions like a reimagined Tomorrowland and a Coco-themed ride.
