Disney's Alien Swirling Saucers Ride Halved in Capacity Amid New Soundtrack Debut

Disney's Alien Swirling Saucers ride at Hollywood Studios has seen significant changes in recent months. Initially, the ride introduced a new loading procedure in July that assigned parties numbers and directed them to specific rockets. However, this system was abandoned just two months later, returning to open boarding.

Days after the change, a giant Lilypad tablet from Toy Story 5 appeared outside the attraction, ahead of its debut as the ride's DJ on September 25. The new soundtrack, titled Lilypad's Jams, will feature a mix of reworked Toy Story music and original songs written for the attraction.

However, on September 22, one side of the ride was closed, with rolling planters placed where a vehicle should be. This has reduced the ride's capacity by half, potentially leading to longer wait times for visitors.
