Disney's Animal Kingdom Unveils Tropical Americas with Indiana Jones Ride

Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park is undergoing significant changes with the introduction of Tropical Americas, a new land replacing DinoLand U.S.A. The area will feature three attractions: Antonio's Fiesta de Encanto, Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, and El Carrusel de los Animalitos.

The headliners are Encanto and Indiana Jones, with the former taking guests through Casita to celebrate Antonio Madrigal's gift. Meanwhile, Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent will transport riders into an ancient temple where they'll encounter a mythological creature known as Tsukán.

The attraction has been under construction since 2026, with Disney filing a new notice of commencement on September 11th for the upcoming ride. The permit reveals that Buena Vista Construction Company is handling the labor and materials for the project.
