Disney's Asteria Community Unveils Entrancing Entryway in North Carolina

Asteria, a Storyliving by Disney community in North Carolina, is taking shape. Inspired by the state's natural beauty, the campus will feature an entrance designed to resemble the local landscape and include a touch of Disney magic.

The entryway will be shaped with stone sourced from the site, including metavolcanic rock, quartz, and rhyolite, in the regional tradition of dry stacking. A moon gate, or arched gateway, will frame the landscape beyond, creating a memorable moment of arrival for residents and visitors.

The same attention to detail is being applied throughout Asteria, where design elements and shared spaces are designed to encourage exploration and connection with a touch of Disney magic. The Second Star Club, a social hub, will feature inspired spaces for gathering, creativity, and wellness, all designed by Walt Disney Imagineering.
