Disney's Bakso the Tiger Cub Heads to New Conservation Role
Bakso, a two-year-old Sumatran tiger cub, will be leaving Walt Disney World this fall. According to conservation plans, Bakso will be relocated to another location where he can contribute to breeding programs for his critically endangered species.
The move highlights the importance of conservation efforts at Animal Kingdom. Many animals brought to the park are part of actual conservation programs, and may have already been moved by the time visitors return.
