Disney's Cool KIDS' SUMMER Event Ends September 8

Disney's Cool KIDS' SUMMER event is coming to an end on September 8, 2026. The seasonal celebration has been a family-focused offering at Walt Disney World, featuring character experiences, activities, entertainment, and additional ways for younger guests to play.

Cool KIDS' SUMMER was launched as a limited-time event, spreading the celebration across all four theme parks and select resort hotels. It brought extra opportunities for families to 'feel like kids together,' according to Disney's promotion.

One of the biggest additions to Magic Kingdom has been Jessie's Roundup: A Rip-Roarin' Revue! Presented by Babybel, a Toy Story-inspired hoedown inside the Diamond Horseshoe. However, this experience will close along with Cool KIDS' SUMMER on September 8.

The end of Cool KIDS' SUMMER marks a transition point for Walt Disney World, as it moves into its fall lineup and new experiences begin to arrive. The Magic of Disney Animation at Disney's Hollywood Studios is scheduled to open on September 14, featuring multiple activities and character meet-and-greets.

Families still planning an August or early September Disney World trip have a small window left to experience Cool KIDS' SUMMER before it ends. While Disney has not confirmed the return of Cool KIDS' SUMMER for 2027, the concept could potentially come back in its current form or with different activities next summer.
