Disney's D23 Event Reveals Exciting Upcoming Projects

Disney's D23 event brought together thousands of fans from around the world to experience exclusive first looks at upcoming releases across Disney's film studios, television brands, streaming platforms, and live stage productions.

The sold-out arena event featured immersive experiences, fan-favorite programming, exclusive shopping, and unprecedented show floor offerings. CEO Josh D'Amaro welcomed fans to D23 and highlighted the extraordinary relationship between Disney and its global audience of over four billion people.

Throughout the evening, attendees were treated to surprise celebrity appearances, exclusive footage, stunning musical performances, major announcements, and first looks at upcoming projects. Dana Walden presented a sneak peek of The Simpsons film releasing in theaters September 3, 2027.

The Bluey Movie was also showcased with a brand-new teaser trailer and poster debut, offering fans a first look at the CG-animated film based on the beloved series about Bluey, a lovable blue heeler dog. Ice Age: Boiling Point cast members Queen Latifah and Denis Leary introduced an exclusive clip featuring Scrat, Baby Scrat, and their enormous prehistoric cousin, Jurassic Scrat.
