Disney's D23 Event Teases Mysterious Artifact from S.E.A.

D23, The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is just around the corner, and Disney has dropped some major news for fans. Taking place from August 14th to August 16th, the event will feature panels and showcases on upcoming and ongoing Disney projects.

The Imagineering Pavilion will be a must-visit space on the showroom floor, where attendees can get a peek at new offerings coming soon to the theme parks and other Disney experiences. This year, the Society of Explorers and Adventurers (S.E.A.) will make an appearance, sharing more about their organization and its mysterious artifacts.

One of the highlights of the event is the showcase of a newly-discovered artifact that S.E.A. has been cataloging for three months. The backstory says that this artifact could tie into the backstory of one of the ongoing projects, perhaps an upcoming ride or restaurant.
