The Disneyland Resort in California has reopened its Frontierland Shootin' Exposition after a summer-long refurbishment. The classic attraction, which allows guests to test their marksmanship with replica rifles, was closed on July 6, 2026, for an exterior and interior tune-up.

While Disneyland is restoring a piece of its original history, Walt Disney World in Florida is taking a different approach. Construction crews are dismantling key elements of its Frontierland area to make way for new attractions inspired by the Cars franchise and Villains Land.
