Disney's Hollywood Studios Closes Grand Avenue Attractions in Phased Shutdown

Disney's Hollywood Studios is undergoing changes in its Grand Avenue area. The Italian table service restaurant, Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, will be closing on May 10th, 2025, with its last day of operation being May 11th. According to Disney, this closure marks the beginning of a phased shutdown of the entire area.

Later in June, Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo will follow suit, closing their doors on June 7th, 2025. The Grand Avenue area was reimagined from the former Streets of America and the Muppets Courtyard, featuring a music shop, loft apartments, a tailor, and other 'merchants' in vintage office buildings.

The BaseLine Tap House, located at the corner of Grand Avenue, will remain open. This new pub features California beers and wines along with small bites, taking over the former location of The Writer’s Stop.
