Disney's Hollywood Studios Unveils Once Upon a Studio Theater

Disney's Hollywood Studios is set to open The Magic of Disney Animation on September 14, which includes the Once Upon a Studio Theater. This theater will screen the Emmy Award-winning short film 'Once Upon a Studio,' honoring 100 years of The Walt Disney Company.

The theater features an enchanted art gallery outside with portraits that come to life through all-new animations and an entrance with logos from dozens of animated films, including Zootopia, Wreck-It Ralph, Dumbo, Beauty and the Beast, Hercules, Sleeping Beauty, Frozen, Atlantis, and more.

Inside the theater, a large screen is in the center of the wall with blue drapes behind it. The film 'Once Upon a Studio' was written and directed by Dan Abraham and Trent Correy and features Disney characters coming to life after animators have left. It includes a tribute to Disney Legend Burny Mattinson.
