Disney's Hurly-Burly Abandons Advance Reservations for Walk-Up Lists
Walt Disney World's newest dining location, Hurly-Burly on the BoardWalk, is taking a different approach to reservations. Unlike other restaurants, it will not offer advance dining reservations when it opens October 1.
Instead, guests hoping to get in will need to join the Walk-Up List system through the My Disney Experience app. This means that instead of planning meals weeks ahead, visitors can use the app on the day they want to eat to potentially secure a spot at Hurly-Burly.
The Walk-Up List is not the same as making a normal dining reservation. Guests can join the list for same-day dining only, and demand still matters - if too many people try to join the list, it may become unavailable.
Hurly-Burly's decision to go all-in on the Walk-Up List system creates a more spontaneous experience than what guests may be used to at Walt Disney World. The lounge will also offer select beverages through its walk-up window.
