Disney's Lakeshore Lodge: A Nature-Inspired Resort Hotel Coming to Walt Disney World in Summer 2027

A new resort hotel called Lakeshore Lodge is under construction at Walt Disney World in Florida. The hotel will be located near Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and will have views of Magic Kingdom in the distance.

The theme of the hotel is nature, with nods throughout to nature-focused Disney movies like Fantasia, Bambi, Pocahontas, Brother Bear, and Encanto.

Lakeshore Lodge will be a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) resort and will operate in Disney World's 'deluxe' resort category. The hotel will feature a zero-entry pool, water slide, lazy river, and splash pad called The Wetlands.

The lobby of Lakeshore Lodge will feature a blown-glass sculpture inspired by the song 'Colors of the Wind' from Pocahontas.
