Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Gets Official Opening Date: July 1, 2027

Disney's Lakeshore Lodge has finally received an official opening date after years of development. The resort, which will be located on the former River Country water park property along Bay Lake, is set to open on July 1, 2027.

The project, initially announced in 2018 as Reflections, A Disney Lakeside Lodge, stalled during the COVID-19 pandemic but has since been revived. The resort will offer 967 accommodations, ranging from studios to three-bedroom villas, with many rooms offering views of Bay Lake and Magic Kingdom fireworks.

The themed guest rooms at Lakeshore Lodge will draw inspiration from several Disney animated films, including Brother Bear, Bambi, Pocahontas, Encanto, and Fantasia. The resort will also feature three dining experiences: Moonglade, a table-service restaurant; Bay Lake Provisions, an all-day quick-service marketplace; and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, a poolside dining location.
