Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Gives First Look at Nature-Inspired Luxury
Walt Disney World is giving guests their first look at its newest resort, Lakeshore Lodge. The nature-inspired lodge is set to open in summer 2027 and will feature a grand lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows designed to bring the surrounding natural landscape into the experience.
The lobby will include a shimmering fiber-optic river flowing around a custom bronze centerpiece created by Walt Disney Imagineering. The design draws inspiration from the music and storytelling of Walt Disney Animation Studios' Pocahontas, with familiar Disney characters incorporated into the bronze centerpiece.
Just beyond the lobby, Branch & Brush will offer handcrafted cocktails and views of Bay Lake. The lounge's design will incorporate natural textures, rich colors, seasonal artwork, and a color-changing chandelier intended to represent the four seasons.
