Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Misses the Mark on Room Capacity

The highly anticipated Disney World resort, Lakeshore Lodge, is set to open in July 2027. The new hotel will feature 967 rooms, a lazy river, and accommodations inspired by beloved Disney movies such as Bambi and Encanto.

However, some potential buyers have expressed disappointment with the room capacity, specifically the Deluxe Studios, which can only accommodate four adults. This has led to concerns that families of five may not be able to stay in these rooms, forcing them to upgrade to a larger villa at an additional cost.

While Disney has pointed out that there are other DVC resorts with similar room capacities, such as Animal Kingdom Villas and Bay Lake Tower, some fans feel that Lakeshore Lodge is missing an opportunity to cater to families of five. The studio capacity could become a problem for these families, who may need to spend more points or money on every trip.
