Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Set to Open at Walt Disney World Resort in 2027

Disney's new waterfront resort, Lakeshore Lodge, is set to open on July 1st, 2027, at Walt Disney World Resort. The resort will feature 967 guest rooms that blend artistic references to classic films with natural materials and earthy color palettes influenced by the great outdoors.

The all-new resort will offer a range of accommodations, including intimate duo studios and spacious villas, as well as one-of-a-kind waterfront Lake Houses. Each space is designed for travel parties of all sizes to make the most of their Walt Disney World vacation.

One of the unique features of Lakeshore Lodge is its Lake Houses, which will offer families an even closer connection to nature. These freestanding retreats will provide ample space to relax and unwind along the edge of Bay Lake, with private porches overlooking the water, full kitchens, and washer and dryers.

The resort's accommodations are inspired by various Disney Animation films, including 'Brother Bear', 'Encanto', 'Bambi', and 'Fantasia'. Each room will feature artwork celebrating the film's themes of nature and discovery. The resort will also offer elevated concierge lounge access for select guests, as well as a presidential suite with private views of Bay Lake and Magic Kingdom Park fireworks.
