Lakeshore Lodge: Disney World's New Hotel Opens Booking on October 6th

Disney World has announced that its newest hotel, Disney's Lakeshore Lodge, will open on July 1st, 2027. However, guests can start making reservations as early as October 6th for stays at the new resort.

The hotel will be a Disney Vacation Club Resort and will feature 967 rooms ranging from cozy studios to spacious suites. The Wetlands area will have epic water features and a zero-entry pool called Lakeside Lagoon, which also has a spiral waterslide.

Children can enjoy various play areas, including Heron Shores with climbing features and Otter Springs for interactive water fun. Three restaurants are coming to the resort, including a table service and quick service option.

The brand new Dandelion Terrace will offer stunning views of Magic Kingdom fireworks displays. Disney Vacation Club members can start making reservations on October 6th, while Annual Passholders can book their stays starting October 7th. General bookings will be available online or by phone from October 8th.
