Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Takes Shape at Walt Disney World
Disney's Lakeshore Lodge is shaping up to be one of the most breathtaking destinations at Walt Disney World Resort. The resort, set to open in Summer 2027, will feature a nature-inspired grand lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking The Wetlands recreation area.
The lobby will incorporate natural materials throughout, creating an atmosphere that feels warm and inviting. Fans of Disney animation will notice subtle nods to Pocahontas woven into the design, including a shimmering fiber-optic river flowing across the lobby floor and a blown-glass Colors of the Wind sculpture suspended above.
The resort will offer three unique dining experiences: Moonglade, a table-service restaurant located along the shores of Bay Lake; Bay Lake Provisions, an all-day quick-service marketplace offering specialty coffee beverages and fresh meals; and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, a casual poolside dining experience inspired by the tradition of plein-air painting.
Dandelion Terrace will become one of the resort's most popular gathering places in the evening, offering stunning views of the nightly Magic Kingdom fireworks reflected across Bay Lake. The lounge will feature a two-story gallery showcasing archival artwork from classic Disney films, including Fantasia.
