Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Unveils Grand Lobby and Lounge Features

Walt Disney World's newest resort hotel, Disney's Lakeshore Lodge, is set to open on July 1, 2027. One of its most defining features will be the grand lobby, which boasts expansive floor-to-ceiling windows offering a breathtaking view of nature.

The lobby will also feature a river of fiber-optic light that illuminates in the floor and 'flows' around a custom bronze centerpiece designed by Walt Disney Imagineering. The centerpiece is inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios classic, Pocahontas, and features various characters etched into its design.

Guests will also find the new lounge - Branch & Brush - just off the lobby. This space will offer handcrafted drinks and views of Bay Lake, with a color-changing chandelier that brings the four seasons to life.
