Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Unveils Nature-Inspired Lobby and Dining Experiences
Walt Disney World has announced the opening of its new Lakeshore Lodge resort in July 2027. Located along Bay Lake, the resort will celebrate the beauty and magic of nature as seen through the eyes of Disney artists and storytellers.
The lobby design at Lakeshore Lodge features floor-to-ceiling windows that welcome natural sunlight and showcase sweeping views of The Wetlands outdoor recreation area. Natural materials are incorporated throughout the lobby, with custom tapestries inspired by classic films like Bambi and Pocahontas.
A shimmering fiber-optic river will illuminate the floor and flow around a custom bronze centerpiece designed by Walt Disney Imagineering. The design features familiar friends from decades of Disney animated storytelling etched into its design.
The resort will debut with distinctive dining experiences, including Branch & Brush lounge, which offers handcrafted cocktails and big views of Bay Lake. The space is inspired by the beauty of changing seasons and features rich colors, natural textures, and artwork.
