Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Unveils New Name Ahead of Summer 2027 Opening
Disney's flagship resort at Walt Disney World is undergoing significant changes, and one of the most notable updates is the renaming of the upcoming lodge on Bay Lake. The project, previously known as Disney Lakeshore Lodge, will now be called Disney's Lakeshore Lodge when it opens in summer 2027.
The resort will offer 967 rooms, each with a design that pulls from Walt Disney's personal affection for nature. Imagineers have incorporated references to Bambi, Pocahontas, and Brother Bear throughout the property, creating an immersive experience for guests.
Disney's Lakeshore Lodge will feature three dining options: Moonglade, a table-service restaurant with views of the water; Bay Lake Provisions, a quick-service eatery for guests on-the-go; and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, a poolside menu inspired by the tradition of painting outdoors.
