Walt Disney World has undergone significant changes since its 50th anniversary in 2021. In just five years, the resort has added more than 70 new or refreshed experiences. This evolution is a testament to Walt and Roy Disney's vision for a constantly changing destination.

The last few years have seen the introduction of several thrilling rides, including Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT (2023), TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise at Magic Kingdom (2023), and Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom (2024). Additionally, new shows and entertainment options have been added, such as Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Magic Kingdom (2024) and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After at Disney's Hollywood Studios (2025).

Many classic attractions have also undergone renovations to keep up with modern tastes. Test Track presented by General Motors is getting a makeover in 2025, while Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be refreshed in 2026.
