Disney's Magic of Animation Gets Ready to Open with New 'Open House' Banner

A new 'Open House' banner has been installed at The Magic of Disney Animation in Hollywood Studios, setting the stage for its September 14th opening. The banner hangs beneath the Walt Disney Animation Studios lettering and features a lineup of beloved characters from Disney classics, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Tinker Bell, Moana, and more.

The sign is the latest addition to the reimagined Walt Disney Studios Lot courtyard, which opened on May 20th. The area was previously Animation Courtyard, but it has undergone a significant transformation to blend classic Disney characters with newer ones, inspired by the award-winning Once Upon a Studio short.

The new 'Open House' banner reinforces the attraction's central concept of welcoming guests into a space where animators have stepped away, allowing their creations to take over. The area is still under construction, but the signage and character statues give an early sense of how the space has changed while remaining largely the same.
